  • Classes are 1 hour long.

  • Subjects rotate weekly between Maths and English.

  • Assessments are both formal and informal and include learning ten new spellings in each English week and ten times tables every Maths week. Spellings and tables tests are timed.

  • In Maths, we work through a variety of topics such as number bonds, multiplication methods, introduction to fractions and see-saw sums.

  • In English, we develop comprehension techniques and boost children’s ability for imaginative, descriptive content as well as working on spelling and punctuation skills.

  • We also offer some Summer Holiday Revision for year 3 children transitioning into year 4.
